Roasted Plums

Ideal last minute dessert. And with calories so low, go ahead - indulge in seconds!

Serves 2

Ingredients:

4 large plums

1tbsp maple syrup

1tbsp agave syrup

2tbsp water

2tsp ground cinnamon

Oven 200C.

Method :

1.     Cut plums in half and remove stones

2.     Put flat side down in an oven proof dish.  Drizzle maple syrup and agave, cinnamon and water, cover with tinfoil or a lid.        

3.     Bake for about 45 minutes until soft.

Serve either hot or cold – great on their own, with ice cream, or yoghurt.

Notes

Can be kept in the fridge in their syrup for a few days and then re heated or eaten chilled.
