This month is Vegan month – so yes, You have guessed it! All the recipes will be vegan , but no less delicious!
Ditch the Nutella and try this for a perfect autumn treat – the only problem I have with it is not eating it all at once!

Ingredients:
190g hazelnuts (roasted for 5 mins @ 180C and cooled slightly)
75g maple syrup
20g cacao powder
75g water (extra water to personal taste for desired thickness)
Method:
- Put hazelnuts in a food processor until they broken down and completely smooth.
- Add cacao powder. Blitz until combined
- Add the water and maple syrup. Blitz until combined. Use extra water if you would like it to be thinner. ( but then it cannot be used as easily for chocolates but is perfect for spreading)
- Store in a jar / sealed container in the fridge.
Notes:
Always use a clean spoon when taking some from the container or it will go off quicker. You can use a different liquid sweetener and reduce it for your personal taste.
